A leading international business in the heavy equipment and construction sector is looking for a dynamic UK Sales Manager to lead its national sales team. Operating across multiple countries with a strong UK presence, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales leader to drive performance, growth, and customer engagement in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing UK sales team
* Set and monitor KPIs, sales targets, and daily performance metrics
* Design and deliver onboarding, training, and development plans
* Develop strategies for new business, account growth, and customer retention
* Prepare performance reports and forecasts for senior leadership
* Collaborate with marketing on sales campaigns and initiatives
* Support major account negotiations and key customer relationships
* Promote effective CRM usage and continuous process improvement
Ideal Candidate:
* 3+ years’ experience managing B2B sales teams in construction, equipment, or related sectors
* Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
* Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
* Excellent communicator and negotiator, with strong commercial awareness
* Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Confident using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
* A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on long-term client relationships
