Job Title: General Cover Teacher

Contract Type: Full-time, Long Term
Pay rate: £1,000 - £1,100 per week (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable General Cover Teacher to join our multi-academy trust in Oldham. You will deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and supporting student progress during staff absences.
You will be part of a supportive, collaborative team committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, if you bring flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you.
What We're Looking For:
Someone passionate about teaching and supporting students on the autism spectrum
Strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly build rapport with students and colleagues
Flexible and resilient, with the ability to adapt to the varied needs of the students
Have a commitment to learning and development, and a willingness to explore and implement autism-inclusive teaching strategies
Demonstrate a holistic approach to student development, focusing not only on academic success but also emotional and social growth
To be eligible you must:
Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, BEd)
Be eligible to work in the UK
Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (if not already registered with the online update service)
Provide two professional or academic references
