Offer description

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Corporate Complaints Officer for a Local Authority Client in Southwest London. In this role, you will investigate and resolve complaints, provide expert guidance to colleagues, and help improve services to ensure a positive experience for residents. Duties: Investigate and resolve complaints in line with council policies, including responding to Ombudsman enquiries. Support policy and service improvements by identifying trends, implementing recommendations, and monitoring outcomes. Provide guidance and training to colleagues, councillors, and stakeholders on complaints and information request procedures. Maintain accurate records and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure efficient, customer-focused service delivery. Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Experience working in a customer service environment, managing and supporting multiple staff. Proven ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience delivering high-quality work under pressure and using Microsoft Office applications effectively.
