Delivery Driver – ASHINGTON
General Traffic has been a family-run business since 1983 and is now one of the largest automotive parts stockists in the North West and Midlands.
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in Ashington.
Your main duties will include:
* Delivering goods between to our garage customers in company vans
* Checking orders for accuracy before delivery
* Using a PDA system to obtain delivery signatures
* Collecting and returning goods with clear and accurate return notes
* Promoting our business by informing customers of special offers and new products
* Representing the company professionally with a smart appearance and well-maintained uniform and vehicle
* Assisting with other branch duties as needed
Requirements:
* A full UK driving licence
* Good driving skills and road safety awareness
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Good knowledge of Crewe and surrounding areas
Part Time Hours:
Thursdays and Fridays 8:30am-17:30pm (8.5 Hours per day)
17 hours per week on average
