To which has now recently completed its acquisition of EvCargo Distribution and Solutions growing its General Haulage division THE ROLE: Job Title – Shunter / Shuttle Driver An Excellent opportunity has arisen to join our operation at a prestigious client in Magor. The Shunter / Shuttle Driver role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and fluidity of the site operation. The role will involve on-site movement and placement of trailers as required by the operation and to act as a Shuttle driver of loads between our sister site (Gwent Park) and the brewery as and when required. Role: Carry out daily checks on TUG/Unit and report any defects to Yard Marshall Shunting trailers onsite using tug unit. Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to maintain flow of trailers onsite. To shuttle trailers between Gwent Park and the Brewery. Skills and experience: LGV Class 1 and In date CPC. Experience of operating a tug or be willing to undergo full training. Excellent communication skills. The ability to work well within a team and on their own initiative. A history of safe or non-accident driving. Flexibility in their approach to completing the work required. The candidate will abide wholly by the on-site Health and Safety Regulations.
