We have an exciting and rare opening for aCNC Setter Operator - after training on days the role will work rotating shifts.

Hours: Whilst training working days
7.30am to 4.15, Monday to Thursday, 12.30 finish Friday
After training
Rotating shifts 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm
The role of CNC Setter Operator isresponsible for setting and operating CNC lathes and machining centres using Fanuc and Mitsubishi programming systems - programming experience is NOT essential.
CNC Setter Operator duties:
Responsible for machine changeovers and production runs based on machine utilisation and target completion dates and within set tolerances. Following works orders, drawings and material specifications.
Modify and create new programmes based on drawings and component demand on Mori Seiki, Tornado and Citizen machines.
Responsible for producing components to the dimensions and special features as stated on the production drawing and in-line with strict tolerances.
