We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic colleague to join and lead our busy Warehouse Operational team. This is a full-time position, working 37.5hrs per week, working Monday – Friday 22:00-06:00
Role Profile:
1. Working within a busy operational team you will report to the First Line Manager
2. You will maintain effective relationships with the customer, the team, and other functions to ensure excellent customer service is achieved
3. You will ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met and, where possible, exceeded
4. You will help with introducing, implementing, and supporting innovative ideas, changes and solutions
5. Ensure co-ordination and handover
6. Translate, analyse and deliver customer needs through effective operations
7. Ensure resource availability and skilled trained resource
8. Deliver consistent service levels seeking to exceed customer expectations
9. Effective leadership, management, and communication with all warehouse departments
10. Responsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behaviours
11. Display a ‘can do’ attitude to enhance motivation of team
12. Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
13. Recognise and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives
14. Ensure all internal / external KPI’s are achieved and regularly reviewed
15. Ensure site standards are maintained at all times
16. Proactive involvement in site CI
Experience & Qualifications:
17. E-commerce experience desirable
18. Proven experience of leading and engaging a team
19. Previous warehouse experience essential
20. Excellent communication skills
21. Ability to work to deadlines and under own initiative
22. A strong ‘Can Do’ Attitude
23. Ability to manage and succeed in a very demanding environment
24. Ability to prioritise and manage workloads in busy periods
