Due to the continued growth of our business, we are looking for an additional Clinical Manager to join our Care in the Home division, where we proudly employ Nurses as Clinical Managers. This role will support packages across the Midlands area.
This is an exciting time to join our team as we have ambitious growth plans. We pride ourselves on providing the best support for children, young people, and adults with conditions such as brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, neurodegenerative diseases, respiratory conditions, and gastrointestinal conditions, including PEG feeding.
We seek someone with strong clinical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring. The role involves working closely with a team of professionals to ensure individuals with complex needs, like spinal cord injury or ABI, can live safely and comfortably at home.

What you'll be working:
* Monday - Friday (including on-call duties for emergencies)
* Home-based work with travel across the Midlands region
What you'll be doing:
* Providing competency-based clinical training to support clients with complex needs, promoting independence at home.
* Delegating clinical skills to Support Workers and Care Managers through training and assessment to ensure safe practice.
* Collaborating with the Care Manager team to keep Personal Care Plans updated, accurate, and compliant.
* Documenting delegation of clinical skills according to company policy.
* Conducting annual observations of Support Workers and Care Managers, ensuring accurate reports.
* Ensuring all support workers have up-to-date competencies.
* Handling safeguarding issues calmly and accurately.
* Communicating regularly with ICBs and care funders.
* Discussing care risks daily with scheduling and Care Manager teams.
* Auditing patient records and MAR charts monthly.
* Visiting clients at home to teach competencies and resolve issues.
* Ensuring accurate documentation by support workers.
* Monitoring support workers' wellbeing, especially lone workers, and conducting risk assessments as needed.
* This role requires leadership qualities, lateral thinking, and a broad understanding of complex care.
What you'll have:
* Current NMC Pin registration (RGN)
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Full driving license and own vehicle
* Skills in Vents, Bowel and Bladder management, Trachy, Catheterization, Epilepsy, Blood Glucose monitoring, NIVs, Nebs, PEG, Challenging Behaviour, ADHD, and Autism
