A Pret Team Member or Team Member Star works as part of a team in a Pret shop, covering the kitchen, front of house, and delivery.
They are responsible for creating an efficient and welcoming environment, engaging and "wowing" our customers, and producing high-quality Pret food.

Key responsibilities
* Maintain good relationships with all team members.
* Take on tasks to balance workload across the team.
* Work in any area of FOH and Kitchen as requested by your manager (Hot Food, Coffee, etc.).
* Collaborate to ensure the FOH, Kitchen, and delivery services are the best they can be.
* Have a good knowledge of Pret standards in all shop areas.
* Understand the importance of the Hot Chef and Barista roles and complete the relevant training as outlined in the TM* training plan.
* TM Star: Be an "Ace in Place" within your shop team, acting as a role model and demonstrating good Pret knowledge.
Amazing Service: 6 Key Points of Service
* Always follow the 6 Key Points of Service.
* Serve customers efficiently, politely, quickly, and engagingly.
* Respond to customer needs to deliver outstanding service.
* Maintain Pret standards in merchandising, seating areas, and Langars.
* Speed up queues through quick service and calling customers.
* Wear a clean, immaculate uniform at all times during your shift.
* Present products in bags or on trays according to standards.
* TM Star: Maintain high performance in till speed and accuracy.
Delicious Food & Drink: 6 Key Points of Production
* Create delicious food following Pret standards in a safe, efficient environment.
* Follow the 6 Key Points of Production.
* Rotate stock properly and use it according to standards.
Well-Loved Shop: Cleanliness and Health & Safety
* Complete the Introduction to Pret course and pass the Pret Food Hygiene test.
* Adhere to all safety and food safety standards.
* Report safety concerns immediately to management.
* Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards and health & safety for team and customers.
* Complete necessary training to understand and follow safety processes.
* Report any standards or process breaches to your manager.
Shop Profitability: Productivity
* Complete all TM and TM* training promptly.
* Follow financial standards when using tills.
* TM Star: Maintain high bench productivity while ensuring good MTS quality.
