Join us as a Senior Residential Support Worker at Compass Community.
Responsibilities
* Build positive relationships with children, supporting their self‑esteem and personal development.
* Engage with a diverse range of children and young people, including those who require high levels of supervision and support.
* Supervise staff, lead shifts, develop and implement policies, procedures, risk assessments and rotas.
* Ensure placement plans are followed and education is supported for each child.
* Maintain the welfare and care of each child, providing guidance and support to all residential workers.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum age 22 years to meet Ofsted regulations.
* NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce.
* At least 2 years of experience within residential childcare, working directly with young people.
* Valid manual driving licence.
