Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a portfolio of private client and high-net-worth tax engagements, providing strategic advisory and compliance services
Drive the development and mentoring of a high-performing private client tax team, supporting career growth at all levels
Work collaboratively with partners to identify and develop new business opportunities across the private client and owner‑managed business space
Contribute to firm-wide strategy and play a visible role in the firm's growth and profile across Scotland
Oversee the delivery of complex tax planning matters including IHT, CGT, trusts, and estates, ensuring the highest standards of technical quality
Requirements
CTA and/or ACA/CA qualified, with extensive experience in private client tax at a senior level
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Proven track record of managing and developing client relationships at director or equivalent level
Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, IHT, CGT, trusts, and estate planning
Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop a team
