Flooring Superstore (Connection Flooring Ltd) is an award winning flooring retailer. After starting out online back in 2012, we have gone from strength to strength and have grown considerably in size. Flooring Superstore is our main brand selling a wide range of floor types, whilst Direct Wood Flooring and Grass Direct are more specialist brands focused on smooth flooring and artificial grass respectively. We also have other websites that sell further more floor coverings
As part of our growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Dispatch Manager to join our Bowburn Warehouse team.

Your key responsibilities:
* Monitor Performance: Review and track daily KPIs and SLAs to ensure targets are being met, highlighting any issues for immediate action.
* Communication: Dialogue with head office to confirm order and stock statuses as requested.
* Team Management: Conduct daily role calls, allocate tasks effectively to staff, and provide clear direction to maintain productivity.
* Operational Oversight: Carry out rota checks, shift checks, and ensure staffing levels are appropriate to meet dispatch demands.
* Safety & Compliance: Perform daily FLT (Forklift Truck) checks and ensure all warehouse operations comply with health, safety, and company standards.
* Workplace Standards: Maintain high levels of warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and tidiness to promote a safe and efficient environment.
* Problem Solving: Respond quickly to operational challenges, escalating issues where required to ensure service levels are maintained.
* Continuous Improvement: Support and drive initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and team performance.
Ideally you will have:
* Leadership: Strong ability to motivate, guide, and support warehouse teams to achieve daily objectives.
* Organisation: Excellent planning and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
* Attention to Detail: Focused on accuracy and compliance, ensuring operational standards and KPIs are consistently met.
* Problem-Solving: Quick thinker who can resolve issues under pressure while maintaining service levels.
* Communication: Clear and confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with staff, managers, and other departments.
* Adaptability: Flexible approach to changing demands and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Health & Safety Awareness: Knowledge of warehouse safety practices, equipment checks, and compliance procedures.
* Experience: Must have warehouse dispatch knowledge and experience in a similar environment
Hours:
44 hours a week, shifts are usually 5:30 - 17:00, with flexibility to meet operation commitments, Tuesday - Friday.
A high degree of flexibility is required to ensure availability at key operational times. This may include a reasonable amount of additional hours to meet business needs.
