We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Romanian cuisine and preparation, with a flair for creativity and innovation in the kitchen. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety while leading a dedicated team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The restaurant mainly steakhouse and Romanian cuisine.
Duties
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operation.
* Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
* Manage team dynamics, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, following food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal offerings.
* Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
* Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain stock.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience in a culinary setting.
* Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
* Proficient cooking skills with experience in various cuisines.
* Extensive kitchen experience, ideally within a restaurant environment.
* Culinary experience that demonstrates creativity and attention to detail.
