The College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (CHMLS) is at the forefront of clinical and life science education, offering an array of courses, such as: Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences; Psychology; Biological Sciences; Physician Associate; Physiotherapy; Medicine; and Nursing.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate individual to join our Services Team in a finance role, supporting all areas of the College. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in HE financial administration. Working closely with the College Finance Officer, the primary purpose of this role is to support the College’s financial activities.
Location:
Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus
Salary:
Grade 5 from: £28,250 to £32,113 inclusive of London Weighting, with potential to progress to £33,904 per annum inclusive of London Weighting.
Hours:
Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process orders and invoices daily in line with financial regulations.
2. Serve as a point of contact for finance queries, including procurement.
3. Manage staff and non-staff expense claims and reimbursements.
4. Assist with budget reporting and forecasting for operational sub-projects.
5. Maintain accurate financial records and support budget holders to stay within budget and comply with financial regulations.
6. Coordinate with University departments such as Finance, Procurement, Payroll, and Sales Ledger.
7. Occasionally deputise for the College Finance Officer.
