The role of Financial Reporting Technical Training Specialist offers an excellent opportunity to be a senior member of the Financial Reporting Training team, contributing to developing the next generation of accountants and auditors. Role description
The Financial Reporting training team partners with audit, tax, and consulting to contribute to the firm's success. We empower colleagues through targeted, well-designed training that bridges theoretical knowledge and practical application.
As a trainer, you will:
* Develop relationships with the audit training director and stakeholders to identify training needs.
* Design and implement training strategies.
* Collaborate across service lines to leverage content and resources.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be an excellent project manager capable of delivering complex content on schedule.
* Have experience in delivering training via online and eLearning mediums.
* Be skilled at influencing senior stakeholders to deliver premium training.
Candidate requirements
Being a trainer is more than teaching standards; it involves bringing content to life engagingly. Confidence in presentation skills and the ability to simplify complex materials are essential.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the training team in program development, requiring strong project and time management skills.
The role requires:
* ACA, ICAS, or equivalent qualification.
* Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP is desirable, with an interest in non-financial reporting.
* Previous training experience is preferred but not mandatory.
* Home-based with flexible working options; travel nationwide for training delivery, with advance notice.
