We are seeking a skilled Project Officer with expertise in BNG to work collaboratively on the design and delivery of habitat enhancement. A new opportunity has arisen to join the Newt Conservation Partnership as BNG Project Officer. This is an exciting new role which will work collaboratively with regional Project Officers to deliver biodiversity units, helping to further our conservation objectives. The BNG Project Officer will work alongside our BNG Team Lead and regional Project Officers, using their ecological knowledge, attention to detail and BNG skill set to design and deliver habitat banks, prepare site budgets and draft reports. The successful applicant will be employed by Freshwater Habitats Trust, seconded full-time to the Newt Conservation Partnership. Newt Conservation Partnership (NCP)is a community-benefit society established to create and manage high-quality habitat for the NatureSpace Partnership great crested newt licensing schemes. We are currently undergoing an exciting period of expansion to include BNG. NCP is a designated responsible body and is securing off-site biodiversity units via conservation covenant. We identify, design, deliver and monitor multi-functional habitat banks which provide additional and stacked units.
