Milk Education is partnering with a range of supportive secondary schools across Leeds who are looking for confident, motivated Cover Supervisors to join their teams.
Whether you’re looking to start immediately, after half-term, or in September, we have flexible opportunities available.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise classes during teacher absences
* Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure pupils remain on task
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Support pupils with their learning and encourage positive engagement
* Report any incidents or progress to relevant staff members
* Build positive, professional relationships with pupils and staff
This role is excellent experience for anyone considering a future career in teaching.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
* Experience working with young people (schools, sports coaching, youth work, tutoring etc.)
* A confident, proactive and adaptable approach
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* The ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
* A degree (preferred but not essential)
