Our Client are specialist suppliers of bespoke HVAC equipment, who have generations of design, manufacturing and installation experience at Their disposal.
A privately-run company, who have built a growing reputation for service based on their ethos of providing high quality, top performance and value for money HVAC equipment.
They have built their success on blending many years of expertise and traditional workmanship methods with the very latest advanced components.
They are creating a new role within the organisation, for a Commercial Director to be an integral part of the shareholders strategic plan to professionalise and grow the business and management team.
Main duties;
Oversee and coordinate the proposals and sales functions of the business
Working closely with the sales director to manage key customers, to improve turnover and profitability in line with business objectives
Work with Sales director and share holders to secure new orders for the trading divisions
Developing and implementing the commercial strategy for the business including proposals, sales and projects
Controlling the sales output on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis to achieve budget
Leading the business through project challenges and disputes
Understanding and controlling the management of change with projects in the best interest of the business
Management of Project Management and Project Engineering resources and functions
Bringing home projects on time, within budget and with positive cash flow
Working closely with the Financial controller to ensure all financial/contractual obligations are understood and complied with such as Guarantees, Warranties, Insurances and Invoicing procedures
Liaising with relevant internal departments to ensure customer requirements and understood and fully communicated throughout the businessRequirements of the role ;
Educated to degree level in an Engineering discipline, ideally with a post graduate qualification in project Management or Business Administration
Previous experience within HVAC or allied industries
Impressive demonstrable track record and skills/experience gained at a similar level
Strong leadership skills and experience
Credible and confident communicator
Tenacious and results driven with sound business judgement
Commercially astute with expert negotiating and influencing skills
