The Vacancy

We have an exciting opportunity for you to become the NCHA ambassador for a designated geographical area. As our Housing Officer you will support, deliver and co-ordinate our tenancy management and sustainment approach. You will deliver estate management activity and involve local residents and partners in this and other customer involvement activities.
Be the face of NCHA on your patch, carrying out new customer visits and other scheduled tenancy management visits using a risk-based approach to identify those customers who will need further support to maintain their tenancy and home. Carrying out a program of support visits to build trust and maintain those relationships as an ambassador for NCHA.
We are looking for an enthusiastic people person who loves to engage with others. We want someone who is full of ideas on how to enrich their allocated community. You will be an avid listener and keep your ear to the ground. You will ensure tenants in your area are able to engage and integrate into their community.
The role is patch based with an expectation to base your work from our Clifton office at least three days a week. You could be asked to cover areas across the East Midlands where NCHA have their housing stock. You must have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 with some flexibility depending on needs of the business.
Responsibilities

* Work patch-based, with base from Clifton office at least three days a week; may cover areas across the East Midlands.
* Must have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Adhere to flexible working hours as required by business needs.
Qualifications/Requirements
* We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, approachable and enjoys engaging with others.
* No formal qualifications are specified in the description; relevant experience in housing management or tenancy support is desirable as indicated in the original job text.
