Senior Interior Designer – All-Rounder, Ultra-Luxury Residential Projects
A distinguished and design-led interior architecture studio based in central London is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its team. The studio is internationally recognised for delivering some of the most refined and exclusive residential interiors, tailored to the highest standards of craftsmanship, detail, and creativity. With a portfolio spanning ultra-prime private homes in the UK and abroad, the studio is committed to design excellence at every stage.
The Role:
We are looking for a talented, versatile Senior Interior Designer with a well-rounded skillset and proven experience in high-end residential projects. The ideal candidate will be involved in the full design journey—from concept creation and client presentations to technical drawing and FF&E procurement—bringing a seamless, cohesive approach to project delivery.
This is a full-time, studio-based role in London, working in a collaborative and creatively ambitious team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and contribute to all stages of design, from concept development through to installation, ensuring design continuity and excellence throughout.
* Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and concept narratives to both internal teams and clients with clarity and confidence.
* Develop and coordinate detailed drawing packages in collaboration with interior architects and external consultants.
* Source, specify, and manage FF&E selections, overseeing procurement processes and coordinating with suppliers and contractors.
* Attend site visits and installations, managing the execution of design intent and resolving issues in real-time.
* Mentor junior team members, offering guidance on both creative and technical elements of project work.
* Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and collaborators to ensure alignment across all project phases.
* Work with the senior team to uphold and evolve the studio’s design standards, processes, and brand presence.
Required Skills & Experience:
* 5–7+ years’ experience in interior design, with a strong background in luxury residential projects.
* A balanced portfolio demonstrating concept design, technical drawing, FF&E specification, and project delivery.
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), and confident delivering polished client presentations.
* Solid knowledge of materiality, joinery detailing, and interior architectural coordination.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Exceptionally well-organised, proactive, and detail-driven with a collaborative mindset.
