We are seeking a caring, motivated, and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for a Key Stage 1 practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils during the important transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage into more structured learning.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 1 class and deliver high-quality teaching across the National Curriculum. You will plan engaging and well-sequenced lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence. Assessment will be used effectively to monitor progress, identify next steps, and inform planning. Differentiation will ensure all pupils, including those with SEND, EAL, or additional needs, are supported appropriately and can achieve their full potential.
Working closely with teaching assistants and other Key Stage 1 colleagues, you will ensure consistency and continuity across the year group. Strong communication with parents and carers is highly valued, and you will be encouraged to build positive relationships that support learning both in school and at home.
