We are looking for someone to join our expanding team of administrative staff.
Life in a GP surgery is busy, varied, fast paced and often challenging.
Our team handle a high volume of calls. The role involves call handling, face to face meet and greet and administrative tasks (eg new patient registration forms and prescriptions).
We are therefore seeking those individuals with energy and enthusiasm to help us provide the very best possible experience for our patients.
Our surgery is located close to Chichester, Bosham and within easy reach of the South Downs.
We are a growing surgery and wish to recruit people who have a good sense of humour, enjoy a challenge and will offer solutions to problems that they encounter.
Main duties of the job
Proposed working shifts:
Monday - 08:00-13:00
Tuesday - 13:30 - 18:30
Wednesday - 08:00-18:30 (1hr lunch)
Thursday - 08:00-13:30
Friday - 14:00-18:30
You will work answering the phones, sign posting patients, booking appointments, scanning documents for the clinicians, work at the front desk, process prescriptions and complete patient registrations.
You should be well organised, willing to learn new skills, ask questions and have reasonable IT skills.
You should enjoy working with people and taking on a variety of tasks. You will be given comprehensive training as part of your induction period and there will be opportunities to work alongside experienced colleagues.
