Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
A certified Special Education teacher is sought to provide targeted support in an elementary setting. This contract position begins on August 25 and extends through approximately the week of August 3, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners with diverse needs.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in the lower elementary classroom.
* Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
* Collaborate with classroom staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure prehensive support for each student.
* Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet evolving needs.
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation in pliance with state regulations.
Qualifications:
* Valid state certification in Special Education.
* Experience teaching or working with elementary-aged children, particularly in a special education setting.
* Strong munication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
* Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
