They are growing rapidly and are seeking a Business Development Manager to enhance customer relationships, drive retention, and support the growth of our client base.
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth. You will identify new business opportunities, nurture long-term relationships, and work closely with technical teams to deliver solutions that align with client needs. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is proactive, commercially sharp, and passionate about the cybersecurity sector.
Skills & Experience
Required
Proven experience in B2B business development, preferably within cybersecurity, IT services, consulting, or technology.
Strong understanding of cyber risk, security frameworks, or managed security services (technical expertise not essential).
Demonstrated success managing full sales cycles and achieving revenue targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build rapport and credibility with senior stakeholders.
Highly organised with strong pipeline management skills.
Preferred
Experience in Scottish or UK cybersecurity markets.
Existing network within commercial or public-sector organisations.
Familiarity with ISO 27001, penetration testing, risk assessments, or compliance services.
