IT Systems Administrator - inspHIRE Location: National (based from any of 7 UK depots - Glasgow, Leeds, North East, Derby, Hull, Milton Keynes and East Anglia) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm | Travel to depots required Job type: Permanent Salary: circa £35K A leading organisation in the Construction Equipment hire and rental sector is seeking a technically capable Systems Administrator with hands-on experience in inspHire. This is a key role supporting seamless operations across contracts, stock, quotations, accounts, and logistics. You’ll be the subject matter expert for inspHire—configuring workflows, supporting users, ensuring data accuracy, and driving system improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Configure and maintain inspHire modules, workflows, and system settings across hire, sales, technical, and accounts teams * Ensure data integrity for stock levels, contracts, asset history, inspections, and maintenance * Provide user support and training across operational teams * Build custom reports, dashboards, and alerts to support quoting, utilisation, and equipment tracking * Collaborate with IT to manage integrations with accounting software, telematics, and mobile apps * Monitor inspHire upgrades and patches; test and implement updates * Support maintenance workflows, certification tracking, and service schedules * Manage user permissions, conduct access audits, and ensure GDPR compliance Skills & Experience * Proven experience with inspHire: configuration, workflows, reporting, and integration * Strong understanding of APIs and data flows between inspHire and third-party systems * Experience building custom reports and dashboards * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills * Organised and able to manage multiple priorities * SQL Server experience (querying, performance tuning, schema management) is desirable Benefits * Competitive salary based on experience (circa £35K) * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Pension and company benefits * Training and professional development opportunities This is a national role with flexibility to be based from any of the organisation’s UK depots Glasgow, Leeds, North East, Derby, Hull, Milton Keynes and East Anglia.
