RECfinancial supports a forward‑thinking, local business in South Leicestershire, recruiting a Temporary Accounts Receivable Administrator for a full‑time position.
This role requires a proactive and organised individual capable of managing multiple accounting and administrative tasks efficiently, including all group company sales ledgers and credit control procedures.
The Role - Accounts Receivable Administrator
This role is to provide a professional and efficient service to the finance function, monitoring receivables, and delivering accurate and timely financial information to the Head of Finance.
* Monitor outstanding debtor balances
* Ensure payment in terms and chase overdue debts
* Implement debt collection litigation when required
* Set up new clients and update existing details
* Generate sales invoices
* Post customer remittances on a daily basis
* Prepare company banking receipts of cheques
* Act as a contact for relevant enquiries
* Meet deadlines
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Maintain accurate and tidy filing of sales ledger documents and reports
* Perform ad‑hoc administration and data entry tasks within the Finance team
Skills and Experience
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Full understanding of sales ledger transactions
* Knowledge of foreign currency transactions
* Strong analytical skills
* Understanding of inter‑group transactions
* Proactive, well‑organised, and willing to learn
* Desire to improve systems and processes
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and MS 365 Dynamics (ideally)
* Good communication skills
