Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint three Teaching Assistant Level 2 SAN positions at All Saints Catholic College, Dukinfield, on a fixed-term basis until 31st August 2027. The positions are full-time, 35 hours per week, on a term-time only basis over 39 weeks a year.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience working with children with high needs, EHCPs, and various SEND needs.
Main duties of the role:
1. Provide support for students who require help to overcome barriers to learning.
2. Offer specialist support in specific curriculum areas.
3. Work with groups of students under teacher supervision, including delivering therapy programmes and implementing ILPs.
4. Assist in maintaining a safe classroom and outdoor environment.
5. Supervise groups and occasionally whole classes during lessons or outdoor activities as required.
Applicants should note that schools and colleges with a religious character in England and Wales may require certain posts to be filled by practicing Catholics or individuals holding a Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies. Where not a role requirement, applications are invited from individuals committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school.
