Why join the business Global manufacturer with long term stability Ongoing growth across the UK and internationally Strong technical training and development Supportive engineering team and structured processes Varied role with exposure to different client sites and technologies Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer Carrying out on site servicing, revalidation, and testing of engineered systems Electrical fault finding and basic mechanical diagnostics Airflow testing using calibrated equipment Filter integrity testing and particle testing Calibration of pressure and velocity instruments Completing service reports and technical documentation Maintaining test equipment and company van to required standards Representing the business professionally on customer sites Identifying and feeding back service, spares, or upgrade opportunities Requirements of the Field Service Engineer Mechanical or Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualifications Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment Electrical fault-finding experience Experience with airflow testing, filter integrity testing, or calibration Comfortable with travel and staying away when required Full UK driving licence Able to work independently and manage time effectively Strong communication and customer facing skills Benefits of the Field Service Engineer Overtime paid in addition to basic salary Annual performance related salary increase Monthly and annual bonus opportunities 24 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays Closed between Christmas and New Year Holiday increases to 25 days after 1 year Additional 1 day holiday for every 5 years service up to 30 days 9% pension contribution Death in service life cover Health plan If this sounds like you, I’d love to speak.
