We are looking for a Commercial & Pricing Strategy Manager!

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving profitability in a fast-paced environment? Harbourne Associates, is excited to present an opportunity on behalf of our client for a dynamic Commercial & Pricing Strategy Manager.

Position: Commercial & Pricing Strategy Manager (12 Month FTC)

Function: Commercial

Location: 4 Days in Head Office, 1 day WFH

Reporting to: Commercial Director

Direct reports: 1

Role Summary

As a Commercial & Pricing Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing pricing strategies that drive profitable growth. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop pricing models, analyse market trends, and ensure competitive market positioning. With a focus on maintaining a comprehensive framework for managing customer terms, you will lead pricing reviews, coach a pricing analyst, and drive excellence in commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Foster a proactive culture of safety and wellbeing across all business activities
* Develop and implement pricing strategies to drive profitable growth
* Maintain a comprehensive framework for managing customer terms
* Collaborate with sales and portfolio teams to develop competitive pricing proposals
* Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
* Analyse pricing data to identify opportunities and risks
* Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align pricing models with business objectives
* Lead pricing reviews and make recommendations for adjustments
* Collaborate with finance team to ensure financial viability of pricing models
* Develop and maintain pricing policies and procedures
* Lead, coach, and manage a pricing analyst

Essential Skills and Experience

* Proven experience working with cross-functional teams
* IT literacy
* Expertise in pricing strategy and simplification
* Ability to thrive in a fast-moving sales environment
* Strong commercial acumen
* Excellent communication skills
* Effective problem-solving abilities
* Ability to deliver under pressure or in uncertain environments
* Strong relationship-building skills
* Business process and systems knowledge (e.g., SAP, C4C, S&OP)

Desirable Skills and Experience

* Experience in change management and commercial excellence
* Strong analytical skills
