Overview
Part Time Customer Experience Coordinator at Worthing Homes. 9 Month Fixed Term Contract. Hours: 18.5 per week (Mon-Thu 9:00–12:45, Fri 9:00–12:30). Salary £13,680 per annum. First 6 weeks: 9:30–1:15 for training. Hybrid working after successful probation (6 months).
Worthing Homes is a forward-looking housing association dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality homes and services to our local communities. We manage 4,000 homes serving over 10,000 residents across a range of properties including social housing, sheltered accommodation, and shared ownership. We are a small but dynamic organisation focused on delivering brilliant outcomes for our customers.
A new part-time fixed term contract opportunity has opened in our Customer Experience Team where you can help shape and deliver a brilliant customer experience by being the first point of contact for customer enquiries.
Responsibilities
* Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries through various channels (phone, email, social media, in-person) with professionalism, empathy, and promptness.
* Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues, using strong problem-solving skills to negotiate outcomes that meet both customer needs and company policies.
* Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments to provide a seamless customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
* Record Keeping: Use internal systems to update customer records and track inquiries efficiently.

* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to manage sensitive situations and communicate effectively
* Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think creatively to resolve complex issues
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently in person, over the phone, and through digital channels
* Comfortable with technology and the ability to navigate customer service platforms, updating records and processing information accurately
* A proactive, positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
