This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to work with students with special educational needs, delivering a high-quality science curriculum in a nurturing and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging science lessons for students with a range of special educational needs. Differentiate lessons to ensure accessibility and understanding for all students. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident and motivated to succeed. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other staff members. Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies and providing feedback to ensure continued development. Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to students' learning and well-being. Encourage curiosity and a love for science by making lessons engaging and hands-on. Who We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching science, ideally in a special educational needs (SEN) setting. Strong knowledge of science curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods for students with diverse needs. A creative and patient approach to working with students with special educational needs. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Why Join Us?
