Our client, a leading Franco-British private organisation, is looking for a results-oriented Junior Business Consultant with a passion for business growth, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships. Role of the Junior Business Consultant:
Business Development & Client Acquisition
* Lead client acquisition initiatives to bring in new members aligned with strategic sector priorities.
* Proactively source, develop, and close strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
* Create and deliver tailored, persuasive commercial proposals to win new members and retain existing ones.
Account Management & Stakeholder Engagement
* Manage a portfolio of existing members, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and renewal success.
* Identify opportunities to upsell and upgrade membership tiers, maximising lifetime client value.
* Build strong, consultative relationships with senior decision-makers, executives, and stakeholders across finance, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and transportation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner with marketing and events teams to create impactful campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
* Contribute to the development of sector-focused programmes, industry insights, and strategic initiatives.
* Represent the organisation at networking events, industry roundtables, and forums to increase visibility and generate new business opportunities.
Reporting, KPIs & Market Intelligence
* Monitor and report regularly on key performance indicators (pipeline, conversion, revenue growth).
* Share market feedback and strategic insights to inform future business development strategy.
Profile:
* Fluent or intermediate level in English and French (or strong interest in French business culture).
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Consultant, Business Development Executive, or Sales Executive within a consultancy, advisory firm.
* Proven track record of client acquisition, revenue generation, and strategic partnership development.
* Balanced skill set combining relationship management and proactive business development.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to present tailored value propositions to C-level audiences.
* Knowledge or keen interest in Energy, Defence, Technology, or AI sectors.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
