Service Care Solutions is working alongside a reputable local authority, based in Staffordshire, which is seeking an experienced Legal Services Manager to join their team and spearhead the direction of the council. If have a passion for guiding legal teams, then this is the role for you.
Role: Legal Services Manager
Location: Staffordshire – hybrid
Umbrella Rate: £65-£70ph
PAYE inc. Holiday Rate: £57.11 - £61.45
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Key Responsibilities of the Legal Services Manager role:
* Report directly to the Head of Legal and Regulatory Services (Monitoring Officer) and play a key role in shaping the direction of our legal function.
* Be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing a wide range of legal work including policy development, compliance, and risk management.
* Provide strategic guidance and direction to ensure the effective delivery of the high-quality legal service.
Key Requirements:
* Strong legal knowledge and expertise with a proven track record of managing complex legal projects within a local government setting.
* Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
* A qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
