Role: Freelance Project Manager - Street Lighting Location: Guildford M25 (GU23) Duration: Until the end of January 2026 Rate: £500 per day CIS Contract: Temporary, Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week plus weekend work We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a major highways improvement scheme on M25 Junction 10, supporting the street lighting packages on an infrastructure upgrade project. This role would suit a Project Manager with experience in highways, street lighting, or electrical infrastructure, capable of overseeing site delivery, managing subcontractors, and coordinating with the principal contractor to ensure safe and efficient progress. What you’ll be doing: Managing street lighting, electrical termination, and civils work packages within a live highways environment Leading site teams and subcontractors to meet programme, quality, and H&S standards Liaising with the client, principal contractor, and local authorities Overseeing site delivery, planning, and coordination of multiple workstreams What you’ll need: Proven experience in highways, street lighting, or civils project management Excellent leadership and communication skills Understanding of electrical installations and highways safety requirements Relevant safety qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS/ECS, Highways Passport, G39, etc.) Details: Contract: Freelance, CIS Duration: Until Jan 2026 Hours: Monday–Friday, approx. 50 hours/week (some weekend work) Rate: £500/day CIS Interviews: Teams, followed by client induction To apply, please send your CV to (url removed)
