About the Role
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 3-shift rotation- 06.00-14.00/ 14.00-22.00/ 22.00-06.00 (Monday–Friday).
Closing date : 20th March 2026

When you start your journey with us as a Machine Operator, your career begins with a comprehensive training program, designed to help you confidently operate an automated mesh welding machine.
This role is well suited to a practical, hands-on individual with experience in machine operation—someone who takes pride in working with mechanical systems and isn’t afraid to get involved in a physically active, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
What Will Your Responsibilities Be:
* Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to all times.
* Operating fully automated high-speed resistance welding machinery.
* Undertaking machine setting adjustments to ensure optimum efficiency, achieving targets and deadlines.
* Carrying out complex machine set-up, according to detailed machine drawings.
* Working with your wider team to solve problems and improve ways of working.
* Manufacturing and quality checking, to ensure all products meet tolerance specifications.
* Ensuring housekeeping standards are always maintained.
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
* Practical experience in a production or mechanical environment, with responsibility for setting and operating machinery
* A strong commitment to safety and product quality
* Experience using hand tools (e.g., Allen keys, hammers, screwdrivers).
* Computer literate at basic level
* Able to work all three shifts rotating early, late, and night shifts.
If you also have the following, that’s great, but we can train you in these areas if not:
* Basic understanding of drawings and measurements.
* Forklift truck (FLT) license.
* GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent
* Prior experience in manufacturing or production, even better if you have experience of welding automation or mesh making in another sector.
