Responsibilities
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market‑leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners specialise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including high‑speed rail projects. We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team based in Greatworth to Southam (G2S) area. In this role you will be responsible for procurement within a section of works, managing the tender, award and recommendation of works packages and orders. You will act as the face of EKFB and ensure that all communication, negotiations and interactions with the supply chain are carried out in the spirit of our values and Procurement & Supply Chain vision. You must carry out procurement to the highest ethical standard and base exercises on value‑based decisions, not solely lowest cost. Internal stakeholders must be engaged throughout and endorse recommendations. You will prepare and deliver internal presentations to key stakeholders, articulating package strategies and award recommendations, and ensure that market capacity is fully considered during the tendering process.
Qualifications
* Excellent written skills and ability to draft formal subcontract documents.
* Experience with NEC contracts.
* Knowledge of supply‑chain principles, procedures and methods.
* Proven analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
* Must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
About the Project
EKFB has been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80 km section of the new high‑speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood, including 15 viaducts, 5 km of green tunnels, 22 km of road diversions, 67 overbridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.
