This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a high-performing finance team, supporting a broad and complex portfolio of contracts.

?? About the Role
Take ownership of monthly management accounts for a portfolio of operational contracts, delivering accurate, timely reporting with clear financial analysis.
Manage the full end-to-end accounting process, including revenue recognition, cost accruals, and preparation of journals.
Lead the month-end close process, ensuring completeness and accuracy across all key financial areas.
Oversee contract accounting, ensuring revenue, costs, and profitability are accurately captured and reported.
Review and analyse payroll costs and subcontractor spend, ensuring alignment with contract budgets and operational activity.
Maintain the balance sheet, including ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and review of key working capital positions.
Manage fixed asset accounting, ensuring accurate capitalisation and reconciliation processes.
Work closely with Finance Business Partners and operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
Review open purchase orders and support effective cost management across contracts.
Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and readiness.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy.
Collaborate with a wide network of stakeholders across finance, operations, and leadership.
?? About You
ACCA, or CIMA part or fully qualified.
Proven management accounting experience within large, high-volume and fast-paced organisations, ideally within contract-led or service-focused businesses.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator who can engage effectively with finance and non-finance teams.
Proactive, organised, and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
