Job Description
The duties and responsibilities for this role include -
* ensure invoices are available to pay within the agreed terms
* Processing purchase order requests within the finance system, ensuring that they are appropriately authorised and coded
* Receive and prepare all income for banking. Carry out the banking and input control journal
* Process staff expenses in the payroll and accounting system in line with internal policy and HMRC regulations
* Process supply and overtime claims in the payroll system
* Raise debtor invoices in the accounting system
* Monitoring and resolution of aged debtors, supporting the debt collection process in a timely manner by producing reports and escalating debt issues when necessary
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Finance Assistant will have -
* Practical experience of working within a Finance environment
* Team player, guiding and working towards the aims of the department
* Strong organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
* Good administration skills and experience
