About You About The Role This is for a waking night position. As a Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care during night hours. Key Responsibilities Overnight Support Provide overnight care and support to individuals with varying needs. Ensure safety and well-being throughout the night. Respond promptly to emergencies and follow care plans. Personal Care & Medication Assist with personal care routines. Administer or support self-administration of medication. Individual Outcomes & Wellbeing Implement person-centred support plans. Promote independence and manage risks. Encourage relationships and ensure compliance with legal and best practice standards. Activity & Lifestyle Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles. Develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth. Communication & Records Facilitate effective communication. Maintain accurate, person-centred records. Safety & Environment Maintain a safe, clean living environment. Adhere to health and safety protocols. Essential Requirements Previous experience in care or willingness to train. Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout the night. Good communication and record-keeping skills. Compassionate and reliable. Desirable NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care. Knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care.
