R. Plevin & Sons Ltd, a market leader in the wood recycling industry,has an exciting opportunity for a FLT Operative on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 06:00-18:00 hours - average 40.25 hours per week to join our busy team based at Elkesley, near Retford DN22 8BT.

We specialise in the recycling of all forms of waste wood and produce a range of sustainable products suitable for the panel board industry, biomass power plants and for use within animal bedding. The FLT Operative Role:
This is a varied role in production, predominantly unloading baling wood shavings and loading vehicles for customer requirements.
With full training provided you will operate the baling machine and will also be required to assist in general plant duties, including cleaning and maintaining the machinery.
Other duties include changing the films of the products as and when needed, setting and reviewing the machinery including the robot, printer and wrapper to ensure they are working correctly.
You will also be expected to help clean out the inside of trailers and make up pallets.
This role will involve some manual handling.
Key skills and experience needed to become our FLT Operative:
- Previous experience of operating a FLT is essential, along with a valid FLT licence.
* Previous experience of operating a loading shovel or teletruk, along with a valid loading shovel licence/ teletruk licence is desirable.
Full training will be given to suitable candidates. Candidates with previous experience of operating production plant are desirable.
