We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic technology teacher with expertise in engineering, CAD/CNC, with the ability to teach wood technology, and design & visual communication (DVC).
The successful applicant will be confident teaching across a range of technology areas, including digital technologies, to support an integrated and future-focused curriculum. They will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. A strong background in design is essential, along with excellent communication and classroom management skills.
We provide new teaching staff with an effective induction into our community, value and support all teachers through our staff wellbeing programme, and offer pathways and leadership opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach at one of New Zealand's leading coeducational schools.
Waimairi-iri Burnside High School is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who is focused on student engagement and achievement. A willingness to make a contribution to the rich co-curricular life of the school is essential.
