Speciality doctor to support Working Age Mental Health Services in Stockport. Will be working alongside a consultant psychiatrist. Candidate will also be on the on call rota as agreed.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
* MBChB or equivalent
* Section 12 approval or a willingness to seek approval
* MRCPsych or equivalent
* Registered as completed Higher Training with the Royal College of Psychiatrists
* Progress towards additional Post Graduate Degree, such as Msc or MD.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
* Good Interpersonal and team working skills. Leadership skills.
* Knowledge of relevant requirements and legislation such as the Mental Health Act, Care Programme Approach etc
* An additional area of relevant special interest. Actively involved in continuing professional development
EXPERIENCE
* A minimum of 4 years in Psychiatry at CT, ST or Staff Grade level at least 2 years of these should be in general adult psychiatry
* Experience relevant to modern community orientated adult psychiatry.
* Experience of teaching and training.
* Experience of management.
* Experience of service development and planning.
* Experience of Forensic or Intensive Care services
* Worked for a total of 10years since primary qualification (which is acceptable by GMC for full/limited or temporary registration)
