From complex casework to coaching leaders, shaping policy, and contributing to engagement initiatives, you will play a key part in driving a positive, compliant and people‑focused culture.</p><h3>What You Will Be Doing</h3><h3>Employee Relations and Advisory</h3><ul><li>Managing a varied employee relations caseload including long‑term absence, disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working and performance matters</li><li>Providing clear, consistent advice in line with employment law and best practice</li><li>Supporting sensitive and complex cases with professionalism and integrity</li></ul><h3>Coaching and Stakeholder Support</h3><ul><li>Building strong relationships with line managers across the organisation</li><li>Coaching and empowering leaders to confidently manage people issues</li><li>Supporting senior recruitment processes, including panel interviews</li></ul><h3>Policy and Compliance</h3><ul><li>Owning and developing HR policies, ensuring they remain compliant and up to date</li><li>Supporting safeguarding‑related policies and compliance requirements</li><li>Playing a key role in maintaining robust HR standards across all staff and associated groups</li></ul><h3>People Experience and Engagement</h3><ul><li>Supporting employee engagement initiatives, including the annual staff survey</li><li>Helping to shape a positive and inclusive working environment</li><li>Overseeing employee benefits and contributing ideas to enhance the employee experience</li></ul><h3>HR Operations and Data</h3><ul><li>Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting payroll changes</li><li>Producing meaningful HR data and insights to inform decision‑making</li><li>Supporting recruitment activities where needed</li></ul><h3>What We Are Looking For</h3><ul><li><b>CIPD Level 5</b> qualified or equivalent</li><li>Proven experience managing end‑to‑end employee relations casework</li><li>Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice</li><li>Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels</li><li>Highly organised with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Comfortable working in a structured, compliance‑focused environment</li></ul><p>Experience in education<b> is not </b>essential.
