IT Support Technician – IRIUM Canary Wharf (100% Onsite)

IRIUM is looking for an IT Support Technician to join its offices in Canary Wharf, London, working 100% onsite. If you enjoy helping users and solving IT issues in a corporate environment, this is the role for you.
Your Mission:
As an IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for IT support, ensuring that all devices, systems, and software run smoothly. You will work with BMC Helix to manage incidents and follow escalation procedures with teams in Spain when required.
Your Daily Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other corporate equipment.
2. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to systems and shared folders.
3. Configure, deliver, and recover corporate devices efficiently.
4. Monitor and manage remote access systems and VPN for employees.
5. Provide support for connectivity issues, communication tools, and collaboration platforms (email, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
6. Log, update, and track incidents in BMC Helix, escalating according to procedures.
7. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues and participate in continuous improvement projects.
8. Document procedures, frequent incidents, and solutions to optimize support services.
9. Train new users on corporate tools and IT best practices.
10. Manage software requests and system updates, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
11. Support IT asset inventory management and lifecycle processes.
Requirements:
12. Previous experience in IT support or helpdesk environments.
13. Knowledge of user management, permissions, and ticketing systems (BMC Helix preferred).
14. Fluent English, both written and spoken, to communicate with international teams.
15. Availability to work 100% onsite in Canary Wharf, London.
16. Proactive, organized, and excellent communication skills.
