An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse with proven clinical skills in respiratory nursing to join a well developed and supportive multidisciplinary Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) team. You will need to have advanced skills caring for patients with respiratory disease, with the vision and drive to develop new pathways and services. You will be an independent prescriber and will review patients in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, managing your own time in independently run clinics and working with the multidisciplinary team to promote service development.
Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload as part of the key worker role and plan care for often complex cases.
* Perform physical examinations vital for prevention of hospital avoidance and post‑discharge care.
* Provide clinical advice to all members of the interdisciplinary team, patients, carers and other agencies.
* Lead the service and provide clinical advice and support to the wider team.
* Collaborate with primary and secondary care to promote service development.
* Demonstrate excellent organisational and delegation skills, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with proven clinical skills in respiratory nursing.
* Independent prescriber.
* Desirable: ability to speak Welsh (Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome).
