You will handle a varied caseload of litigated motor injury, fraud and credit hire cases within the County Court jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
* Work within the Motor team as an insurance defence litigation specialist, pursuing the completion of files in line with client instructions for the benefit of Keoghs and our clients.
* Build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and third parties through all communication methods.
* Proactively identify next steps and handle cases within your handling authority.
* Interview witnesses and draft statements.
* Liaise with parties involved in claims, including the insured, insurer, witnesses, etc.
* Draft pleadings and applications.
* Instruct counsel and attend conferences, consultations, mediations remotely and in person.
* Attend court in person or by phone, including trials and settlement conferences.
* Meet performance targets and quality standards.
* Maintain case management systems with up-to-date information for clients.
* Ensure compliance with LSNI regulations.
Working Hours
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Law Degree & qualified Solicitor (0-5 years PQE).
* Previous experience in defence insurance litigation is preferred but not essential.
* Good telephone advocacy skills.
* Positive, confident, and enthusiastic attitude.
* Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and client care skills.
* Understanding of case law, litigation practice, process, and Court Rules.
* Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
* Confidence to take initiative and adapt to change.
* Ability to meet targets and service level agreements.
* High analytical skills.
* Excellent IT skills.
