Post Identification: IT & Facilities Co-ordinator
Reports to: Head of HR & Internal Operations
Job Purpose: To manage the support of IT and office facilities across the organisation
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Manage internal IT issues, including computer problem solving, setting up of equipment, and asset lists. Provide telephone support to remote workers as appropriate.
2. Provide a link to our external IT providers (Allware) and report any recommendation to the HA.
3. Support Adult Services as a link between staff and Surrey County Council IMT to manage hardware/software issues with SCC equipment.
4. Support the Head of HR & Internal Operations with all premises related issues including the management of contractors on site, which also includes opening & closing of site.
5. Provide support and administration for the charity, including compliance and health & safety.
6. Support the Facilities Assistant to manage, forecast and order stocks of stationery/print/catering supplies, washroom supplies, and manage stamp stocks.
7. Assist core administrative staff in welcoming visitors/deliveries to the charity, and direct accordingly.
8. Support with opening and sorting daily post, and process outgoing post.
Work Context:
This is a part time or full-time post (36 hours FTE) with a responsibility to help open up and possibly close the office securely. The job is essential to the work of the charity, providing as it does the ingredients that enable the systems to work efficiently. This work involves a considerable variety of tasks both internally and externally. It requires patience, discipline and close time management in order to meet administrative deadlines. Good interpersonal skills will ensure that hard pressed colleagues who need close support services get it on time and without demur.
The charity constantly needs to reassess its priorities in line with a changing funding environment and the needs identified by its members and service users. These factors are crucial to the charity's survival and need careful attention. In order for the charity to successfully manage these pressures there is a need for all staff to be flexible and work wherever their core skills are needed most. No one will be asked to carry out work for which they are not properly trained.

Pay: £26,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
