Spider is advertising on behalf of a global leading post-harvest solutions provider, who are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team based in Snetterton, Norfolk working on impactful projects across the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia in a full-time, permanent position. About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will be an integral part of their project teams, driving the successful execution of engineering projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and fellow engineers, to ensure that projects meet specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
Main duties and responsibilities include
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and documentation.
* Perform engineering analysis and design calculations to support project goals.
* Communicate progress, gather feedback, and address risks with stakeholders and team members.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and contribute to a collaborative, success-driven team culture.
Qualifications
* Mechanical engineering background (essential) with a proven track record of working in a similar role, in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in 3D modelling using Autodesk Inventor.
* Exceptional numeracy and data analysis skills.
* Ability to build relationships with diverse individuals and work as a collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
* You enjoy tackling challenges head-on and seeking innovative solutions.
