What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Delivery Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of capital maintenance projects. Reporting to the Storage Points Delivery Manager, you’ll:
* Lead end-to-end project delivery, from prioritisation to execution.
* Represent operational risks and drive value-focused outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with technical standards, CDM regulations, and health & safety.
* Manage and mentor a team of Project Engineers.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and with external partners.
* Oversee regional maintenance programmes and ensure accurate reporting.
* Champion a proactive safety culture and conduct high-level site audits.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Extensive experience in water supply processes and capital project delivery.
* Strong contract and budget management skills.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.
* High-level cost, risk analysis, and programme control expertise.
* A-Level education or equivalent (degree in engineering or related field desirable).
* Recognised professional engineering qualification (highly desirable).
* Advanced health & safety qualification (minimum IOSH level).
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
* Degree in engineering or related field.
* Chartered Engineer status.
* Experience working with regulators and framework partners.
