The role
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will work in close partnership with senior leaders and Contract Directors to align people strategy with operational objectives. This is a senior, influential role where your expertise will shape decision making, drive performance and support sustainable growth across a complex, multi-site organisation.
Day to day you’ll be required to:
1. Partner with business leaders to align people strategy with operational and contract objectives
2. Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management and complex people cases
3. Coach and challenge senior leaders to improve decision making and people outcomes
4. Lead and support organisational change activities, including restructures and TUPE where required
5. Use people data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities and influence strategy
This role is part time role, 22 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.
Essential experience of the HR Business Partner:
6. Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a large, complex and multi-site organisation
7. Strong experience managing employee relations and industrial relations, including working in a trade union environment
8. Demonstrated ability to influence, coach and challenge senior leaders with credibility
9. Experience supporting and leading organisational change initiatives
10. Ability to use people analytics and commercial insight to drive improved business outcomes
Qualifications for the HR Business Partner:
11. CIPD qualified to Level 5 as a minimum, Level 7 would be advantageous, or equivalent professional experience
12. Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
